Learn to Upcycle a Costume or Formal Class
Calling all fabulous fashionistas and creative spirits! Have you wanted to create a costume or formal but you didn't know how or where to start? Now is your chance to learn from the best. Journey into the realms of upcycling, slow fashion, and create costumes that'll render everyone breathless.
Annual costumed Halloween fundraiser for Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence. Great costumes, good food, support worthy cause. They have an artist contest and silent auction.
The annual Witches Walk is held the Saturday before Halloween and is organized by Old Town Bay St Louis Merchant's Association.
Gulf Wars Annual Event in March. Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) week long medieval reenactment. Camping or day trips to immerse into medieval times. Classes, activities, shopping. Garb required. Family friendly.

The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is a lively and immersive event that aims to recreate the atmosphere, culture, and entertainment of the Renaissance period, which typically spanned from the 14th to the 17th century in Europe.
Every autumn the Louisiana Renaissance Festival creates the English village of Albright, with more than 600 artisans, entertainers, and educational demonstrations welcoming you to the best parts of the 16th century.
Overall, the Louisiana Renaissance Festival provides a unique opportunity for guests to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Renaissance period in a fun and immersive environment.

ARRRR ye ready fer a weekend of pirating? Annual Pirate Day in the Bay draws families, friends, and of course...pirates! This event is hosted by the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse.
Live music, pirates’ pub crawl, pirate play zone, fireworks, lil’ buccaneers’ parade, craft vendors, pirate invasion parade, costume contest. Lots of activities for adults as well as children.
